About her
Widowed, with a background in both law and professional opera — two careers that reflected my love of people, communication, music, and lifelong learning.
I continue to lead an active life with tennis, padel, pickleball, travel, and the occasional scuba-diving trip in warm waters. Opera and the arts remain central to my life, and I now give opera talks to various groups. I also danced Argentine tango for many years and could be tempted back onto the dance floor with a fellow tanguero!
I could also be tempted to learn golf!
At one point I even learned to fly a small plane. I eventually decided my sense of direction was probably not quite reliable enough for serious aviation, although I did rather enjoy putting the aircraft into a stall.
Life does not always unfold as we once imagined, but I still believe deeply in companionship, affection, laughter, and creating new memories with someone special.
